Terms of use
Last updated 27 October 2026
1. What this is
flarecellar.xyz (the site) is a website that helps you use The Cellar, a set of smart contracts on the Flare network. "We" means the small team that runs the site. The contracts are public and run on their own: anyone can use them without this site. These terms cover your use of the site. By using it, or by ticking the box in "Before you play", you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 and old enough to make binding agreements where you live. You confirm that you are not named on a sanctions list (such as those of the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States), that you do not act for anyone who is, and that you do not use the site from a country or region under comprehensive sanctions. We do not check any of this. Whether using the site is allowed where you are is your responsibility.
3. Your wallet, your funds
The site never holds your funds or your keys and never asks for your recovery phrase. Every transaction is prepared by the site, checked and signed by you in your own wallet, and sent to the network. A confirmed transaction cannot be undone by us or anyone else. Keep your wallet safe: we cannot recover lost access.
4. No advice, no duty
Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on it is an offer or a request to buy or sell an investment. We are not your bank, broker, adviser or agent, and we owe you no fiduciary duty. Rates, estimates, examples and the calculator are information, not promises. You decide for yourself, and you handle your own taxes.
5. The tokens
fcUSD, XRP Boost and KOBAN are tokens of these contracts. fcUSD is a game token, not money, e-money or a deposit: it claims FXRP from the pool under the contract rules and can claim less than $1. XRP Boost can lose all of its value. KOBAN is points: it has no promised value, no income and no claim on the pool, the treasury or us. We may add uses for KOBAN later, or we may not. Anything like that will be announced first and apply only from then on.
6. Risks
You can lose everything you put in. "Before you play" and the Risks page are part of these terms. In short: XRP can crash, the price feed can be wrong or frozen, the code can have bugs, FXRP and Flare have their own risks, exits are rate-limited and can pause, and the contracts have not been audited.
7. Fees
The contracts charge the fees the site shows before you sign; the current numbers are on the Rules page. Trading fees go to the pool's treasury; funding paid by XRP Boost holders goes to the Den and the treasury. Network gas is separate. The owner can change fees and limits only within the contracts' fixed bounds and only after 48 hours of public notice on chain.
8. What the owner key can and cannot do
The owner is a multisig that needs 3 of 5 signatures. It can change fees and limits within fixed bounds after 48 hours of notice and can pause new deposits. It cannot move your funds or mint tokens. After the same notice it can make XRP Boost exits stricter or slower (a higher backing level, at most 180%, or a smaller shared limit) and lengthen the Den's hold after a deposit to at most a day; fcUSD and Den exits stay open.
9. The site can change or stop
We may change, pause or take down the site, or any part of it, at any time. The contracts keep running without it. Their addresses are on the Contracts page, so you can always reach your funds directly, for example through the Flare explorer.
10. Fair use
Do not use the site to break the law or to move money from crime, do not attack or overload it, and do not pretend to be us.
11. Seasons and perks
The site may show seasons and a board of KOBAN earned. The team may thank wallets high on a board with non-cash perks, such as a badge or an 888 Club NFT. Perks are given at the team's discretion after a check at the season's close: they are not owed, have no promised value, and may change or be withdrawn before they are given. Wallets run by the team or the pool cannot receive them, and the team may pass over a wallet it believes gamed the board, for example with many wallets or with trades made only to farm points. A perk is given as it is, with no further claim.
12. As is
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises of any kind about it, including that it works, is accurate, is secure or is available.
13. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses of funds, profits or data, or for indirect or consequential losses, that come from using the site, the contracts, your wallet, the network or any service run by others, and our total liability to you is limited to 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, and nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
14. Services run by others
Your wallet, the Flare network, FXRP and FAssets, the FTSO price feed, WalletConnect, the RPC providers and the explorer are run by others. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for them. When you pay with FLR or USD₮0, the swap to FXRP runs through Felynx, the FlareCat swap: separate contracts with their own risks. The swap can bring in less than the price shown, down to the minimum you sign, and the steps after it use what actually arrives.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. A new version applies from the moment it is published and never to transactions made before it. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new version.
16. If a part is invalid
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
Privacy
Short version: the site has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and we do not collect or sell anything about you.
What stays in your browser
Your settings (theme, Normal or Advanced, the wallet you chose, reminders and your game progress) are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They do not leave your device, and you can clear them at any time in your browser.
What others see
The site is hosted by Vercel, which receives your IP address and normal request data to deliver the pages and keeps short technical logs. To show prices and balances, your browser asks public Flare RPC providers directly (Flare's own API, with Ankr and other public providers as backups); they see your IP address and, once you connect, your wallet address. Only if you choose "Phone wallet", your browser connects to Reown's WalletConnect service, which sees your IP address and passes encrypted messages between the site and your phone wallet. The fonts are served by the site itself. Your wallet app, and the explorer if you open its links, have their own privacy policies.
Blockchains are public
Your wallet address, your transactions and your balances are public on Flare and stay there permanently. Nobody, including us, can change or delete them.
Your rights and contact
Because we store no personal data, there is usually nothing for us to show, correct or delete. For questions about these terms or your data, message @fcatflare on X.
The owner's disclosure explains the game, the risks and your choice
to play. No country check is performed.
